There's lots of pretty redundant reviews about Warby P. It seems like they aren't educated or read plenty on the issues they have. Here are the common problems I read, with what you really need to know.
-People complaining about problems with their PolyCarbonate Scratch resistant lens, yes, they will scratch. They're merely more than 'Resistant.' Not, 'Scratch Gratis...' nowhere does it say that.
And with the people complaining about headaches and their lenses, that has zero to do with lenses.
-This has to do with people non getting their Student Distance measurement with their Optometrist (Which you lot need to manually ask for, they won't but requite it to y'all that tin can cause issues with vision as your eyes need to be aligned with the mid betoken of your lens). Also as said in the Warby Parker small handbook they requite "New prescriptions will cause headaches and straining over the course of a few days." Now I will say the application they have for pupil distance won't ever be accurate because you're using your phone cameras, and then it's not the about reliant mode to work with that aspect but non horrible either, but non preferred if you desire highly accurate readings.
-Then about the UV Light, the coating was most likely damaged to exposure of some chemical which can impairment any coating. Of common sense, this can be hair sprays, alcohol solvent solutions or anything of like kind which can damage it if non cleaned off.
With my feel with Warby parker, in my simple terms. -> Information technology is swell. I went into my Optometrist, got my prescription, my girlfriend told me about Warby Parker equally she has used this visitor before, instead of me using my old store vision works. Sure enough I did their quiz on what glasses would piece of work best for me. Narrow, I ordered the 'Robbie' in Antiquarian Silver with Single-vision, blueish-light-filtering, scratch polycarbonate lenses with my uploaded image prescription from what I was given from my dr..
The glasses are amazing quality, perfect fit no need to arrange (As some will actually need to too said in pocket-sized booklet given). I received them extremely faster than expected with the extra $20 aircraft. My vision was straining at get-go because of how worn my sometime glasses were, and they were a bit large. I had them for most 3 years. I'm 21 now and these are what I needed large time. I wanted to brand sure what I was buying was worth information technology, so out of $200 I got my money's worth happily out of their glasses. (Y'all get what you pay for) I received my glasses earlier today. I have never wanted to write a review. Until today. Got yourself a long term client. Thank you Warby P.

Information technology was piece of cake to find a pair of glasses that I honey and are comfy. Beingness able to attempt on five pairs of frames without the pressure of someone watching you in the middle doctor'southward office immune me to actually bank check for comfort, since I've had painful glasses in the past (can y'all tell I'grand all about condolement??). Plus, I was able to use my FSA to pay for them. I would utilise them once again.

I'thousand on my 3rd pair of glasses from Warby Parker. I've loved them all. The online ordering process is pretty like shooting fish in a barrel, and particularly nice during Covid. At that place are a lot of follow upwards emails to make sure they are perfect, and helpful instructions on how to arrange them. I don't live anywhere near a Warby Parker store so the online feel is smashing!

The online service is user friendly. If you do not sympathize something you can call to get clarification. When you lot guild glasses, and forget something the site will let you know. The spectacles are stylish. If you lot have issues like shooting fish in a barrel return or go into a store. The prices are reasonable.

I'm disabled and have a difficult time working with the retail eyeglass stores. Warby Parker was an fantabulous culling to what is usually a painful experience, both physically and financially. I used the domicile try-on to decide the best fit, and then I ordered from the overall inventory. My glasses came 10 days earlier than predicted by the company.
The frames were exactly equally they looked online. I chose a red, which can be very hard to match, only Warby Parker was spot on with the shade. The spectacles fit perfectly. I've never been able to say my spectacles accept been comfy ... until now! They seem very sturdy, they wait fantastic, and the price was right. I got the anti-glare blanket, standard on all their lenses, and I added the blueish light filter since I'g on the calculator 24/seven. That increased the bill by $50, but the total was still simply $145. That's less than I've ever paid for glasses I absolutely dear. All in all, this was the nigh pleasant feel and effect!

I was lied to 3 times near when my glasses would exist delivered. I paid for expedited shipping and was told my glasses would be delivered on March 17th. I didn't receive any updates related to aircraft so I had to reach out two times and each time I was told the glasses would arrive inside the expedited time-frame and that I would receive updates with shipping info. When that didn't happen, I once once again had to reach out.
This time I was told the spectacles were still in their lab, significant the beginning ii people lied to me so I wouldn't cancel the social club. This person then told me that the glasses would be on my doorstep the post-obit morn. This conversation happened at 7 PM, then according to this person the glasses had to be completed, picked up by a carrier, put on a truck/plane & shipped halfway across the land and would arrive at my house the following morning time. When I asked how that would be possible the person refused to answer any more questions. I had to reach out a 4th fourth dimension to cancel my order.

I ain 6 pair of Warby Parker eyeglasses. I recently had cataract surgery on my right eye which corrected the vision to 20/20 in that eye. I went to the Warby Parker store to take the right prescription lens replaced with a lens that has no prescription (Obviously Glass). They told me I needed to purchase a new pair of $179. I declined and went to a local optometry shop and got it done in 15 minutes for $30.

I do not live most a Warby Parker so on a recent trip I went to one in Washington DC and purchased 2 pairs of distance glasses using my opticians prescription. I liked the frame choices a lot but when the glasses arrived, information technology was like looking through the mirror in a fun business firm: completely distorted. I have a very basic and not extreme distance correction. I went to my optician and rechecked the prescription and it was right. The glasses are unusable as they are now. I spent over an hour on the phone with WP. This has turned into a time suck for a basic pair of distance glasses. They offered me a refund of $5 per pair for the lenses. Outrageous! I'chiliad now spending $125 per pair for my optician to create the lenses. If you lot actually demand vision correction, don't go to WP. They sell frames with unusable lenses.

So I was in demand of a pair of spectacles when I spent some months in NY concluding year since my original pair broke in the drome. So I read a lot of good reviews and trusted them and went to the 1 in Manhattan, near to Times Foursquare. I bought the virtually expensive pack, with transition anti-scratch lenses, and in simply 3 months they were scratched! I had a 1-year warranty, so I went to a Brooklyn shop, well-nigh the fifth, and asked for a new pair. I got it, but it came bigger so I went once again to have it fixed. The girl there destroyed my frame!
I wrote to Custom Service, not happy at all, and I must say they were very kind to me and very helpful, they respected my frustration and for that I'1000 grateful. And so I went to a dissimilar location in Brooklyn, the one in Court St, and there I got a new frame and they fixed it, no issues at all. Withal, something felt off. And sadly, I didn't recognize it until some weeks ago when I tried the onetime pair of glasses I had here, back home. I had been feeling very middle tired and didn't know why, because Warby Parker promised me transition, blue-ray protection, and the same formula. GUESS WHAT! It was not the same formula, at all. Even afterward I gave them my old lenses and then they could replicate it. I see ameliorate with my old glasses from hither than I see with the best quality glasses I bought in Warby Parker (and believe me, the sometime glasses are normal quality, nothing too expensive).
I'1000 very disappointed in the quality of the product they sell. Don't buy it. Is better to save more money and buy from other brands than to requite your money to the products they sell, because is not worth information technology. I gave them 2 stars and non 1 because they have good customer service. That, however, is not enough because they don't evangelize what they hope.

Come on Warby Parker, you tin do improve! Have you ever tried to get your forever on the planet, plastic frames new prescription lenses merely from Warby Parker? No? Well that is considering you cannot! They turn down to sell just the lenses! Y'all must buy the frames and glasses over again! So incredibly wasteful, bad for the environs! I kept request the manager and they said no. My frames are fine, but this is the 2nd time the coating has peeled off on the lenses from Warby Parker. They offer a $50 rebate to guild a new pair and I like them and so much. I did it, although annoyed.
Mistakenly, they processed the lodge twice. Then I called customer service to encounter if I could just return the frames and pay for the 2nd pair of lenses, since they were already made and would just be tossed. I mean information technology is my Rx, who tin use them? They still said no. They said there is no way to process information technology in the system. I hateful actually? How wasteful and unaccommodating. Where is your customer service Warby Parker? Just do an override for goodness sakes! BAD, BAD RETAIL. Shame on you making u.s. pay for more than than we need and putting more than plastic on the planet. BAD BAD customer service, not letting me pay for your mistake. I fifty-fifty wrote to customer service, same answer, 3 times, they just say no. I will now definitely think twice almost Warby, in fact, maybe I will but buy the frames at that place and get the lenses elsewhere from now on. My Eye Dr. has no problem with ordering new lenses ever!
